This is the charger kit I bought off the internet.  It came with installation instructions.  I think I can have this installed and charging my car in about 2 hours.
Here you see the battery (IMA) uncovered.  There is a main on/off switch on top in the center.  The cover had many bolts and clips that needed to be taken off to remove the aluminum cover.
Here is the charger hooked up and charging my car's battery.  You can see the pigtail on the left side with the white connector.  The charger has a volt meter attached to it.  I hope my battery peaks out around 177 dc volts.  The charger helps re-condition my unbalanced battery packs.  It is good for my car to charge it.
I now have a "plug in" or "grid charger" Honda Insight.  I like the term "planetary responsibility".
